Coming Home Soon

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

Yo PPL-

I am coming home soon- we fly out of Chicago on the 24th.  I will be in Sac from 26th-28th then Vegas from 29th to 2nd and then Sac again from 3rd to 7th.  So, let me know what your plans are so we can hang out.

I took my first final this past Tues- it was in Contracts.  I have Torts this Fri and then two more exams next week.  I hate exams.  I am studying hard only cause I would feel guilty for not studying- but I think I know as much as I am gonna know.  I am just basically organizing all my info.

Please e-mail me your mailing address so I can send you a card and pic of Hong and I in the snow.  It’s already snowed 12 inches total this month.  The snow is gorgeous- I saw real icicles everywhere.

Well, I am exhasuted so I’ll write more later.  Hope all is well.

Finals—Aaaagh!

Hey all—

Okay, it’s been a while but here goes.

Hong and I went back to CA for Thanksgiving and had soooo much fun.   Good times!  We got in Fri night then went to Jas’ wedding Sat, slept in late Sun and then had lunch at Cantaros with Elsie and Lark.  Mon, Hong and I watched Harry Potter at Metreon, I hit up Sephoras and Hong hit up the car show.  It was lovely to be back in SF….I even bought sunglasses cause it was so sunny.  I met up with V. Chu and Vicky for drinks at Tony Romas- talked relationships.

We went to Sac on Tues and had the best sushi (thanks Liz).  Silver Sake on Marconi in Sac is so awesome- it is a true hole i the wall with the best sushi chef….he fed us all kinds of sushi dishes and we drank lots and our bill for six was $90—-a deal with which we thanked with a big tip.  I just remember Ang bouncing a ball and shouting, "I want sushi!" and Albby giving the chef a kiss.  I have pictures if you don’t believe me:)  Mish was drunk and we kept trying to hook her up.  By the way, Mish has been intoxicated since Jas’ wedding- for good reasons of course:)

Jas’ wedding was crazy-beautiful- Congrats Jas—you’re married!  She looked like a little Chinese Cinderella.  The food was great and the drinking was better…

Wed we had good Hmong food at Kacey’s house.   We had Thanksgiving brunch at my mom’s on Thurs and Thanksgiving dinner at Hong’s sisters.  I ate so much.

Fri night we hit Dragon Bar for one last night of SF fun…..Albby and Mish were so intoxicated—-Albby was saying hi to everyone at SunHong Kong and Mish, well- let’s just say she was one HOT mama:)  Jas turned into our little armless friend at the end of the night…..ask me to explain.  I caught a cold while at Dragon Bar but had fun dancing to the mish-mash DJ.  Of course, we ended the night with Cambodian donuts (Vicky and Drew, wish you guys were there).  The apple fritter wasn’t the same without you guys.  Damn, that apple fritter was GOOOOD!

So, I spent the whole week with friends and family and am so truly thankful for you all.  I saw so many folks at Jas’ wedding-it was like a mini-H.S. reunion.

I miss CA but I’ll be back for X-mas so get ready to party people….Someone, give me your apt/house and I’ll throw a white elephant prom again.  We’ll be staying in Hong’s parent’s alter room…no sexy things for us with his ancestors looking down at our cot.  Too bad:(

Alrighty- bye bye…..time to study for finals:)   And then my first sem in law school is over.  Woo whoo…
